I have been so incredibly busy today. I did get lots of things accomplished. Hey, even got two loads of laundry done! The house picked up and vacuumed. Supper made and dishes done. I also did some shopping at a homeschool curriculum sale. Found a few items I will be using!
There is another sale on Thursday. I have my list ready of what I need for the upcoming school year and am hoping to find some things pretty cheap. I have most of the curriculum. Just need a few things to supplement. I am getting excited about the school year!
After 4 years, we finally have a dryer that works without all the steam and humidity!! WOOHOO!! The new managers and owners finally got it fixed. Anyone want to guess what the problem was? hmmm... The outside vent need to be cleaned out. VIOLA!! My dryer works! YIPPPEEE!! The difference is amazing!
Well, I have been doing some more scrapping lately. I have a few more things I need to finish this week so will be working on those. Above is one of the pages I worked on last week. I love how it turned out!
This week my brother Ben graduates from Officer Training! WOOHOOOOO!!! We are so incredibly proud of him! I need to get his card in the mail. In fact, I am going to go finish that up right now so I don't forget!
I will try to be better about posting in the blog. I have put the blog off lately because I have really been focusing on other things. Tomorrow I am checking out a homeschool Brownie troop for Leesha. I really need to get her into some activities. She is such a social creature and needs that interaction with other children. She just thrives on it!
Well, I am off to relax and read! Right now, I am reading Unveiled by Francine Rivers! It is about Tamar and it is really good. It is giving me some great insight into Tamar! I also just finished Divine by Karen Kingsbury. It dealt with women dealing with abuse and addictions and was quite eye opening for me!
