Update on us!

Leesha is finally healthy again. We are back to our normal schedules around here. Well, at least Leesha is healthy. I am such a clumsy oaf that I fell on Sunday and am in sore and in pain but all will heal. I just twisted a knee and an ankle. Today it is feeling okay as long as I don't stand or sit or do anything for too long.

Yesterday was coop day. We finished up our first session of classes. Pictured above is Leesha's finished dioarama from the ocean class. They had so much fun doing the dioarama and yesterday they made galaxies out of sugar cookies. They thought that was just way too much fun!

Next week we start Spanish and Art class. I think she will really enjoy both. Their Spanish teacher has some fun things planned for them. I am secretary of the coop so next week is busy for me since it is the start of the new session. I have signs and other fun things to make up and do.

Brian is finally getting some help for his hands. Well, kind of. They are being really slow about it and put him on ibuprofen for ten days to see if that would help. Uhh... okay. He has been doing that routine for at least 4 months and hasn't worked so what makes this Dr. think ten days will make a difference. Now he has ordered Occupational Therapy for him. Honestly, this Dr. is a quack. He hasn't even given Brian a diagnosis yet. I asked Brian to see if we could get a second opinion from another Dr. We might not be able to since this is a Workman's Comp issue but come on, the Dr. is a dufus. I wouldn't let him touch me with a ten foot pole and I honestly think that worker's should have more rights about which Dr's their companies make them see. Well, as you can see, that is a tiny bit irritating for me.

We are planning birthday parties right now. We promised Leesha that when she turned 5 we would have a big party with friends for her. Well, it ended up not happening and so we are doing it this year for her. Her homeschooling friends and she are going to be partying at Chuck E Cheese. Uncle Ben & Aunt Heather, you want to come help? LOL! I only ask cause they have done the Chuck E Cheese thing with us before and know how absolutely crazy it can get. I also think Ben and Brian had more fun than the kids. Then the family party is going to be about ten days after her birthday. Brian's Mom is leaving tomorrow for PA because we have a new nephew arriving next week. We are trying to work it around everyone's schedule but know that we won't be able to make everyone happy. I still need to send invites for this party but that will come.

Anyway, I better get back to cleaning the house! I will put up some pictures we took this past weekend in a little bit. We went to the pumpkin patch and fall festival this past weekend and you won't believe that Leesha is almost 4 foot tall already. Okay, I am off!
