Update on us!

This is a picture of Leesha during her first day of school. School is going great! We are plugging right along and doing great! She is catching onto things so fast and learns incredibly easy! We also attend a homeschool co-op every Monday morning. She is learning about space and animals in the ocean. She loves every minute of it and really enjoys it. The first week she enjoyed it a little much and ended up in trouble in the hallway. Leesha and her little friend were not listening and were talking instead of paying attention. She was heartbroken that she got in trouble and she hasn't been a bit of trouble since. LOL! She also is in gymnastics every Friday for an hour now. She absolutely enjoys every minute of that class. She is learning to do cartwheels and flips and vault and walk the balance beam. Oh, the balance beam is only 4 inches off the ground. But when you are almost 6 that is pretty cool!

Brownies is out for right now! She was looking forward to that but we had to pull out of that due to an issue with a criminal background in one of the other volunteers. It is amazing to me how people will cover up things for someone else and not see the real issue at hand. It had nothing to do with condemning anyone. My job as a parent is to protect my child first and foremost. One of the many, many reasons I homeschool. We are trying to get another group going like American Heritage Girls. Right now, we are running into the problem of finding financial backing to get started. So we will have to see. We are still getting the few girls together for some craft times and fellowship.

So anyway, between homeschooling, coop, gymnastics, and all the other home stuff I take care of; life has been crazy! I just need to find some sort of routine.

Recent news:

Not much is going on other than the above. Brian had over $200 worth of tools stolen off the back of his truck last night! He feels awful about it. He had most everything tied down but now it is tied on and locked down and they would have to do some major work to get it off there now.

Tomorrow Leesha and I are going on a field trip to Appleworks. She is so excited. We will be taking a tour of the orchards and they will show the kids how they make cider and different things. They also have a petting zoo and other things to do so we are looking forward to having all kinds of fun!

I will hopefully have some good photos to post tomorrow! Well, hopefully, this will post and I will be able to update it more! I will promise to try to keep this updated more often! Oh, and can you believe that in about 6 weeks, Leesha will be 6! Sheesh, the time has flown!
