umm.....HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING!!!!

Something is very wrong here! Very wrong! Since when did snow mean spring? We are so confused!!! Leesha was thrilled for all of 5 seconds when she woke up this morning. Then she realized that we weren't going to her friends house 2 hours away and she realized that there was no way she could swim in snow. She was soooo not happy! She kept asking me why is there snow on the first day of spring? Well, honey, there is a phenomenon in Indiana called "March Madness." Unfortunately, that means that there is always some kind of snow during March Madness. This time it happened to be 4 inches of snow. You know, it isn't any fun when your kids realize that you don't have a magic wand to make the stuff that makes them unhappy go away. LOL!! I just can't control the weather, dear little one!! Oh and she will NOT go out and play in it. No way, No how!! She wants the warm weather back. It was just warm last week. We were out riding our bikes last week. Yes Leesha, enough of the complaining. It could be worse!! *snicker* She really was just saying what I was feeling on the inside.

Leesha and I blast www.klove.com when we are folding laundry and doing our chores in the morning. It helps this "not a morning person" mom and "ever so chipper in the morning" daughter get along better in the mornings. Well, she had finished her chores and came in to help me fold laundry. So we are folding laundry and singing at the top of our lungs "Live out Loud" by Steven Curtis Chapman. Well, I love to hear my daughter sing these Christian songs so I stopped to listen to her sing. Well, to my amazement, the words I hear from Leesha are not Live out loud but "Liver loud." BWHAHHAHAHA.. Now I am not sure what kind of noises the liver makes or anything but God knows so today be sure to live for Christ "LIVER LOUD."

Oh, and shortly after she informed me that she didn't want to be a Mommy anymore when she grew up that now she wanted to be a Christian music singer! You go girl, whatever God wants you to be!!
