Okay, for some reason this cat loves getting into the bathtub with Leesha. Why? I have no idea. Most of the time, he just sits on the edge of the tub and watches her like she is going to drown or something. He will occasionally swat at her trying to get her attention like "Hey, that water will mess up your fur." He will also swat at the water like he is trying to get the water away from her. It is quite comical to watch.
Tonight he provided us with much entertainment. He ended up in the tub with her and she was done so we gaven him a bath as well. Well, he looks like a rat when he is wet and then he does this prancing sort of dance when he walks like he is a diva and can't stand to have his fur messed up. He will go to walk and somehow he ends up prancing like on his tippy toes. Brian and I thought it was hysterically funny. Maybe we are just really tired. Now get this, this cat doesn't hate baths at all. He sits in the tub while you are washing him up and he swats at you and at the water but he doesn't start complaining until he gets cold. You also can't squirt water at him to discipline. He likes to play with it. Yep, I know most cats HATE water but not this cat. I tell you, he is pyscho.
Today was a wonderful day at home. Love the routine of not having to go anywhere! My house is mostly clean. I do have to still clean Leesha's room and the bathroom and finish up laundry but mostly things are done. That feels nice! YIPPEE!!
Well, I am off to read for a little while before heading to bed. Tomorrow I have errands and things to run but it is supposed to be 50 degrees here. Hello, it is January in Indiana. What is going on around here? As Brian said tonight: "This is the weirdest January we have ever experienced." I have to say I agree! Thank Goodness January is almost over!
